摘要： A computer system in which restoration of a system state of the computer system can be carried out efficiently and a management method for the same are proposed.In a computer system having a host server which provides a computer system made up of one or plural computers to a client, and a management server which instructs the host server to construct the computer system or to restore a system state of the computer system that already exists in response to a request from a user, the host server records a content of change in the state from a predetermined time point for each computer, and for at least one of the computers constituting the computer system, the host server selects an optimum restoration method for the computer from plural restoration methods, based on the recorded content of change in the state from the predetermined time point for each computer in response to the instruction from the management server, and restores the state of the computer to the state at the predetermined time point by the selected restoration method.

A web relativity extraction unit is executed as a program by the processing unit of a recommendation server. The web relativity extraction unit extracts relativity between web pages about a search term related to the web pages. Further, it considers a user's information search model based on the process of accessing between web pages and quantitatively evaluates a relativity degree indicating the intensity of relativity and thereby extracts relativity between the web pages.

摘要： In a computer system, even when the virtual storage capacity of pools is increased, it is possible to keep the availability of each pool at least at a desired level. The managing server compares a reference value beforehand stored therein with an evaluation value of availability which represents a degree of resistivity against destruction, the degree being derived by use of physical configuration information which is obtained from the controller and which is associated with the pool; and determines necessity of addition of an element to the pool if the availability evaluation value exceeds the reference value and indicates the addition of the element to the pool to the storage apparatus.
