The seal lip 43 protruded from the inner peripheral surface of the lip support part 42 has a trapezoidal cross section including: a cylindrical seal surface 43a in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of an inner ring 30; an outside surface 43c standing from an outer end of the seal surface 43a to reach the lip support part 42; and a conical inside surface 43b which inclines toward the outside surface 43c while extending radially outward from an inner end of the seal surface 43a, to reach the lip support part 42.

The inside surface 43b is formed of a vertical surface 43b1 standing upright in parallel to the outside surface 43c from the inner end of the seal surface 43a, and a conical surface 43b2 inclined toward the outside surface 43c extending radially outward from the outer peripheral end of the vertical surface.

When a negative pressure acts on the outside of the seal member 6, a differential pressure between the outside and inside of the seal member 6 presses the inside lip part 13B against the outer peripheral surface 2A of the inner ring 2, such that air tightness of the seal member 6 is maintained. Thus, sealing ability can be enhanced for positive and negative pressures, which allows no separate sealing means to be required.
