There is also provided a reagent comprising the eliminating agent and a hemolysis agent, which is used for the measurement of the amount of glycosylated hemoglobins; and an eluent comprising the eliminating agent, which is used for the separation of glycosylated hemoglobins in blood samples by ion-exchange chromatography to measure the amount of the glycosylated hemoglobins. A method for measuring the amount of glycosylated hemoglobin A.sub.1c in a blood sample involves the use of the eliminating agent, the reagent comprising the eliminating agent and the hemolysis agent, and/or the eluent.

摘要： A plurality of light emitting units are prepared each of which is provided with a laser diode having a laser diode chip which emits one beam and a collimator lens for converting a beam emitted from the laser diode into a parallel beam. The light emitting units are fixed to a bar body so as to be in a row. A plurality of such bar bodies are prepared, and by fixing the bar bodies to a substrate, the light source units are arranged in a matrix form. The positions of the light emitting units are adjusted and fixed after the light emitting units are fitted in the bar bodies so that a plurality of beams emitted from the laser diodes are in parallel with one another at predetermined intervals.

摘要： A semiconductor laser is inserted into a first hole of a fixing member. An optical system including a cylindrical lens barrel and a lens attached inside the lens barrel is inserted into a second hole in order to direct a light beam emitted from the semiconductor laser to a predetermined position. The first and second holes are formed to be opposite to each other and are arranged on the same axis. The semiconductor laser and the optical system inserted into the first and second holes, respectively, so as to be partly exposed are fixed by laser welding at entrances of the first and second holes. The fixing member is provided with a third hole vertically penetrating the second hole. An adhesive is filled into the third hole. Further, an adhesive is applied onto laser welding points at the entrance of the first hole.
