摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to minimize ozone production while increasing the production of an active species. The plasma generating device (100) comprises: a pair of electrodes (21, 22) in which dielectric films (21a, 21b) are disposed on at least one opposing face; voltage application means (4) for applying a pulse voltage across the electrodes (21, 22) to bring about a plasma discharger; and fluid circulation holes (21b, 22b) that are disposed in locations corresponding to the electrodes (21, 22), respectively, and that are configured to pass entirely therethrough. The plasma generating device is also configured such that a fluid passing through the fluid circulation holes (21b, 22b) comes into contact with the plasma, generating ions or radicals, wherein the voltage applying means (4) varies the peak value and/or the pulse width of the pulse voltage applied across the electrodes (21, 22).

摘要： The present invention obtains both the feature of deodorizing by means of active species and the feature of killing floating and attached bacteria by releasing the active species to the exterior of a device. The present invention is configured in a manner such that a fluid through-hole (21b, 22b) is disposed on and through each electrode (21, 22) on a corresponding location, and is characterized in that at least a portion of the outline of the corresponding fluid through-holes (21b, 22b) are positioned at a different position from one another when viewing from face plate direction of the electrodes.

摘要： In a center injection type of direct injection engine, since it has an ignition plug and an injector arranged in proximity, there occurs the problem that a sprayed liquid fuel directly strikes the ignition plug and causes the plug to misfire. A notch is to be provided at a portion of the injector end so as to form a coarse-grained portion and a dense portion in sprays of fuel, and the injector is disposed so that the coarse-grained portion is directed towards the ignition plug. It is possible to avoid the misfiring of the ignition plug and thus prolong the life of the plug, by preventing a liquid fuel from directly striking the plug.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a compression-ignition internal combustion engine capable of improving its engine performance by appropriately setting ignition timing. In order to attain the above-mentioned object, the compression-ignition internal combustion engine comprises a valve mechanism control means for controlling opening and closing timings of a valve mechanism including an intake valve and an exhaust valve arranged in a cylinder of the internal combustion engine. Using the valve mechanism control means, the compression pressure can be controlled corresponding to an operating condition of the engine, and accordingly the auto-ignition timing can be controlled corresponding to the operating condition of the engine.

摘要： A pair of casual shoes such as flip-flops are packaged for sale so as to have the general appearance of an essentially spherical ball. Each shoe has a flexible sole portion and an upper portion connected to at least part of the periphery of the sole portion by stitching, which extends around the entire sole portion periphery. The sole portion of each shoe is flexed generally into a U-shape and also is flexed transversely to the length thereof, and then the two U-shapes are interfitted with the toe and heel regions of one shoe fitting against the instep region of the other shoe. An elongate cord is laced between the stitching around the peripheries of the two sole portions so as to hold the two shoes together in the ball shape but removal of the cord release the two shoes for separation and opening out into a pair of flip-flops.

摘要： There is provided a cylinder injection type internal combustion engine capable of performing stratified charge operation at the time of a vehicle speed of 120 km/h and/or an engine rotational speed of 3200 rpm to enhance the fuel efficiency and/or to observe the emission regulations. In the internal combustion engine, a stratum of air and/or air flow is formed between a fuel spray injected from an injection valve and the top face of a piston and/or the wall surface of a combustion chamber, and a face shape contrived to guide the air flow is formed on the top face of the piston. Also, the stratified charge operation can be performed even at the time of cold start or cranking.
