摘要： In order to quickly and economically evaluate cleanliness of a metal with high representativity when quantities, compositions, etc., of non-metallic inclusion particles existing in a metal and resulting in product defects are evaluated by a sample collected during the production process of the metal, the present invention provides an evaluation method involving the steps of levitation-melting a metal piece for a predetermined time by cold crucible levitation-melting means, discharging non-metallic inclusion particles contained in the metal piece to the surface of a molten metal, and directly analyzing a curved and non-smooth sample surface after solidification by a fluorescent X-ray analysis method using an energy dispersion type spectroscope, or by other chemical or physical measurements, to measure or analyze the quantities of elements constituting the non-metallic inclusion particles and to determine quantity of the non-metallic inclusions.

A GRA register stores an access attribute for each of the plurality of general-purpose registers. A mode storage unit stores modes for controlling an operation of a CPU. When the control unit makes a request for access to the general-purpose register, register access allowance determining circuit determines whether the access to the general-purpose register in question is to be allowed or not, depending on the access attribute stored in the GRA register and the mode stored in the mode storage unit. Therefore, the number of the general-purpose registers used corresponding to the mode can be changed, and efficiency of use of the general-purpose registers can be optimized.

摘要： When a digital broadcast is decoded and then re-encoded and digitally recorded, detailed program information contained in the original digital broadcast and information such as age-based viewer control information or parental control information may be lost. This problem is solved by providing a digital tuner to demodulate the digital broadcast signal and output the MPEG-TS, a demultiplexer to demultiplex the MPEG-TS into the component packet streams, an AV decoder to decode the demultiplexed AV data packets, and an AV encoder to re-encode the demultiplexed AV data packets into AV data packets for recording. A control microprocessor reads, reconstructs, and sends the PSI or SI packets demultiplexed by the demultiplexer to save the viewer control information to the system multiplexer. The system multiplexer multiplexes the PSI or SI packets with the re-encoded AV data packets, and the multiplexed stream is then written to the recording medium.
