    • A maintenance operation of an ion generator can be easily performed. A device main body has an inner case and an outer case, and the inner case having a support block and an air supply pipe is inserted into the outer case. An opposite electrode is detachably mounted in the support block from a front side of the device main body, and a discharge needle unit is detachably mounted from a reversed direction thereto. The discharge needle unit has a holder, in which the discharge electrode is provided, and a sleeve, which forms an ion generating space between the opposite electrode and the sleeve, is detachably mounted in the holder. Air supplied from an outside is supplied to the ion generating space via a flow path in the air supply pipe.

    • A head 2 has a through hole 7 into which compressed air is supplied and flows, and a discharge electrode 11 is disposed inside the through hole 7. When a voltage required for discharging is applied to the head 2 made of a conductor and the discharge electrode 11, a corona C is generated at a tip end 11a of the discharge electrode 11, whereby flowing air is ionized. By a cylindrical housing tube portion 17 made of an insulator and receiving most of the discharge electrode 11 and a tapered guide portion (transfer fluid guiding member) 18 formed at a downstream-side end thereof, an air flow is biased and guided on a side of an outer circumference thereof so as not to rush directly against the corona generating region. Thus, even when air supply pressure is increased, an ion balance can be stabilized without almost changing pressure or a flow rate in the corona generating region.

    • An electric signals supplying device in a solenoid valve, wherein two solenoid coils are provided for operating respective valve members, is disclosed. This electric signals supplying device has a socket which has four conducting pins in total, including two conducting pins connected to a terminal on one of the polarities of the two solenoid coils and constituting a first pair, and two conducting pins connected to a terminal on the other of the polarities and constituting a second pair. A connector detachably provided on the said socket is detachably provided with four contacts in correspondence with the four conducting pins. The two conducting pins connected to the terminal on one of the polarities and constituting the first pair are electrically connected to each other through a short circuit member. The two conducting pins connected to the terminal on the other of the polarities and constituting the second pair are connected to a contact connecting signal cables respectively. One of the two conducting pins constituting the first pair is connected to a contact connecting a common signal cable. The polarity of a control signal is changed by exchanging the positions of the short circuit member 45.
