摘要： An inexpensive surface-protective film which is excellent in the ability to protect an adherend (in particular, optical sheet). With the surface-protective film (pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet) adherent to an adherend (in particular, optical sheet), an inspection of the adherend for defects can be made with satisfactory precision. Also provided is an inexpensive surface-protective film which prevents an adherend (in particular, optical member such as optical sheet) from being electrostatically charged during the processing or transportation of the adherend (in particular, optical sheet), and has the function of preventing fouling. The protective films each is a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which comprises a base layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side thereof, and an antistatic layer formed on the other side, characterized in that the antistatic layer contains a polymeric antistatic agent comprising an olefin block and a hydrophilic block.

摘要： Provided is a water-dispersible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which has satisfactory resistance to increase in adhesive strength and a good appearance and less causes staining on an adherend. The removable water-dispersible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes an acrylic emulsion polymer (A) formed from constitutive monomers essentially including 70 to 99.5 percent by weight of a (meth)acrylic alkyl ester and 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of a carboxyl-containing unsaturated monomer based on the total amount of the constitutive monomers; a water-insoluble crosslinking agent (B); an acetylenic diol compound (C); and a specific polyether defoaming agent (D). The acetylenic diol compound (C) has an HLB of less than 13, and the polyether defoaming agent (D) has a PO in a content of from 70 to 100 percent by weight and a number-average molecular weight of from 1200 to 4000.

摘要： Provided is a water-dispersible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is resistant to increase in adhesive strength with time, has a good appearance, and less stains an adherend. The water-dispersible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes an acrylic emulsion polymer; and a water-insoluble crosslinking agent having two or more carboxyl-reactive functional groups per molecule. The acrylic emulsion polymer is formed from constitutive monomers essentially including a (meth)acrylic alkyl ester (A), a carboxyl-containing unsaturated monomer (B), and at least one monomer (C) selected from methyl methacrylate, vinyl acetate, and diethylacrylamide and has a solvent-insoluble content of 70 percent by weight or more. When the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is applied so as to have a dry thickness of 50 μm, dried at 120° C. for 2 minutes, and aged at 50° C. for 3 days to give a cross-linked acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive film, the film has a solvent-insoluble content of 90 percent by weight or more and an elongation at break of 130% or less at 23° C.

摘要： A filtration method includes steps of feeding liquid to be filtered into a filter medium between a fixed plate and a movable plate; and reducing capacity of a filter chamber formed by the medium by moving the movable plate in a direction in which the movable plate presses the fixed plate through the medium so as to perform expressing filtration of the liquid and to produce cake. The reducing step comprises alternately repeating at least one time an expressing pressure-increasing process for increasing pressure in the liquid in the medium by a specified increment in the filtration of the liquid, and an expressing pressure-maintaining process for maintaining the pressure constant during a specified period, so that the filtration is performed under a specified pressure corresponding to a desired water content of the cake to produce the cake. A filter press for employing the method has the filter medium arranged between the fixed plate and the movable plate capable of moving toward and away from the fixed plate. The press comprises a driving device for driving the movable plate to move toward and away from the fixed plate; a pressure sensor arranged at one of the movable plate and the fixed plate and measuring pressure in the chamber; and a control unit for controlling the expressing filtration of the liquid by control of drive of the driving device on the basis of a signal outputted from the sensor.
