摘要： The device for charging a secondary battery, comprises: a measuring circuit for measuring the terminal voltage of the battery; a control circuit for controlling a charging current fed through the battery; and an abnormality determining portion which starts a preliminary charging of the battery (S2), finishes the charging (S4) when the voltage of the battery has reached a first threshold value which is decided based on the normal-state upper limit of the internal resistance and the current of the battery (S3), measures the open-circuit voltage of the battery after finishing the charging, determines that the battery is abnormal when the open-circuit voltage is less than a second threshold value (S5), determines that the battery is abnormal when the open-circuit voltage is larger than a third threshold value for detecting that the battery is abnormal (S5), and indicates that the battery is abnormal (S9).

The microscope includes: a laser; a polarization apparatus that polarizes a laser beam into a circularly polarized laser beam; a semiconductor photocathode that is provided with a strained superlattice semiconductor layer and generates a polarized electron beam when irradiated with the circularly polarized laser beam; a transmission electron microscope that utilizes the polarized electron beam; an electron beam intensity distribution recording apparatus arranged at a face reached by the polarized electron beam that has transmitted through the sample. An electron beam intensity distribution recording apparatus records an intensity distribution before and after the polarization of the electron beam is reversed, and a difference acquisition apparatus calculates a difference therebetween.

Since the semiconductor thin film is stable to visible light and has high device characteristics such as transistor characteristics, in the case where the semiconductor thin film is used as a switching device for driving a display, even when overlapped with a pixel part, the luminance of a display panel does not deteriorate. Specifically, a transparent semiconductor thin film 40 is produced by forming an amorphous film containing zinc oxide and indium oxide and then oxidizing the film so that the resulting film has a carrier density of 10+17 cm−3 or less, a Hall mobility of 2 cm2/V·sec or higher, and an energy band gap of 2.4 EV or more.
