    • The present invention discloses video system including a display device for displaying an video image and an eyeglass device for assisting a viewer in viewing the video image, wherein the display device includes: a display portion for displaying the video image; a first generation portion for generating a synchronizing signal for the video image; and a transmission portion for transmitting the synchronizing signal, the synchronizing signal representing control information with a duration of a continuous active time during which the control information is transmitted, and the eyeglass device includes: a reception portion for receiving the synchronizing signal; an optical filter portion for adjusting an incident light to a left eye and a right eye; a second generation portion for generating an internal signal based on the control information; and a control portion for controlling the optical filter portion based on the internal signal.

    • An eyeglass device for assisting in viewing a video to be stereoscopically perceived includes an optical filter portion with left and right filters for adjusting light amount to be transmitted to left and right eyes, respectively and a controller for controlling adjustment operation of the light amount by the optical filter portion, wherein the controller switches a control mode of the optical filter portion between a first control mode of controlling the optical filter portion so that the adjustment operation becomes synchronized with display of a frame image of the video and a second control mode of controlling the optical filter so that that the adjustment operation becomes slower than a frame rate of the video to make a viewer perceive the adjustment operation which is asynchronous with the display of the frame image.

    • A light output control device for laser light sources for respective RGB colors includes, for each of RGB, three sets, each including: a semiconductor laser for one of the colors; light output detection unit for detecting a light output from the semiconductor laser; light output adjustment unit for updating a light output target value; light output control unit for controlling the semiconductor laser based on the updated light output target value; and division unit for dividing the light output by an output from the light output adjustment unit to obtain a ratio of the rising of the light output, and includes rising determination unit for determining, based on results obtained by the respective division unit, a semiconductor laser with a slowest rising and outputs light output adjustment values for the respective colors. The light output adjustment unit update their respective light output target values based on the light output adjustment values. The light output control unit causes their respective corresponding semiconductor lasers to operate in accordance with a semiconductor laser whose rising time is slowest, based on the updated light output target values to keep RGB color balance upon start-up.
