    • PURPOSE: To heat-treat many kinds of steel sheet suitably to characteristics thereof, by combining suitably coolings by gas jet, roll and water in a strip cooling apparatus of the continuous annealing line.
      CONSTITUTION: A strip 0 is introduced to the first cooling zone 2 from a soaking zone 1, and can be cooled by blowing gas by a gas jet cooling means 21. Thereat, cooling quantity of the strip can be controlled by adjusting quantity of gas blowing. Next, the strip 0 is introduced to the second cooling zone 3 and cooled by winding it to the roll cooling the inner part of a roll cooling means 31. Winding angle of the strip can be regulated by moving the roll 31 in an arrow 35 direction. Next, the strip 0 is entered to the third cooling zone 4, can be held thermally or cooled slowly by a gas jet cooling means 41, then can be roll cooled by means 51 at the fourth cooling zone 5. At last, the strip 0 is entered to the fifth cooling zone 6, and can be cooled by dipping it in a water cooling vessel 61.
