    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method by which a cylinder block, the upper part of crankcase and the upper part of transmission case can integrally be cast at high precision. SOLUTION: This casting method is performed as follows. A metallic mold 1 is set so as to make the cylinder block 21 side direct to the lower side, the upper part of the crankcase 22 side direct to the upper side and a crankcase mating surface 24 direct upward, and molten metal is poured into the metallic mold 1 by the own weight of the molten metal in molten metal pool 15 arranged at the reverse side of the transmission case side of the upper part of the crankcase 22. This molten metal is filled into the cylinder block 21 from the upper part of the crankcase 22 and also, after filling the molten metal into the upper part of the transmission case 23, the molten metal in the molten metal pool 15 of the upper part of the crankcase 22 is utilized as a feeder head, and thus, the cylinder block 21, the upper part of the crankcase 22 and the upper part of the transmission case 23 are integrally cast by gravity casting.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a wheel for a vehicle with high quality having no blowhole by pressure casting with high productivity even when the cross sectional area of a connection part for connecting an outer circumferential rim with the hub of a central part is small.
