    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a tilting range of a gas torch to a cutting object member from being limited when cutting the cutting object member, by automatically, easily and surely executing ignition for generating a preheating flame from mixed gas jetted from a nozzle tip of the gas torch and its ignition detection.SOLUTION: A gas-cutting device comprises: a gas torch 2; a torch holder for holding the gas torch 2; an ignition mechanism 6 for igniting for generating the preheating flame from the mixed gas of combustible gas and oxygen gas; an ignition detection mechanism 7 for detecting the ignition via combustion heat of the preheating flame; and a first advance-retreat movement mechanism 8 equipped in an installation member fixed to the torch holder and integrally advancing-retreating the ignition mechanism 6 and the ignition detection mechanism 7 over an advancing position where the ignition mechanism 6 can ignite the mixed gas and the ignition detection mechanism 7 can detect the ignition and a retreating position for retreating the ignition mechanism 6 and the ignition detection mechanism 7 in the direction for keeping away to the nozzle tip 2a of the gas torch 2 from the advancing position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cutting device capable of easily switching/adjusting intensity of preheating flame according to a situation with no possibility of accidental fire.SOLUTION: The gas cutting device includes a cutting torch 11 which cuts a work 5, flow rate adjuster 20 which contains valve units 21-25 for adjusting flow rate of fuel gas, assisting oxygen, and cutting oxygen supplied to the cutting torch 11 to a different flow rate, and a control device 12 which, according to a cutting condition, selects a combination of valve units from among the plurality of valve units 21-25 which is suitable for the cutting condition, and drives the valve unit that supplies fuel gas or the like to the cutting torch 11. The flow rate adjuster 20 includes at least one ignition valve unit 21 in which flow rates of the fuel gas and the like are set to an ignition flow rate, and a plurality of flow rate changing valve units 22-25 adjusted to a flow rate of a different cutting condition respectively. The control device 12 is configured such that the ignition valve unit 21 is surely selected in all cutting conditions.
