    • An electrophotographic image-forming method is disclosed. The image forming method comprises the steps of (1) forming an electrostatic latent image on a rotating electrophotographic photoreceptor having an organic photoconductive layer, (2) developing the electrostatic latent image with a toner comprising toner particles which contain a releasing agent existing in the toner particle in a form of insular domain having a number average diameter of 0.1 .mu.m to 1.1 .mu.m to form a toner image, (3) transferring the toner image to an image receiving member, and (4) cleaning the surface of the photoreceptor after the transferring step by a cleaning member having a rubber elastic cleaning blade having an impact resilience of 35 to 75% which is contacted to the surface of the photoreceptor in the direction counter to the rotating direction of the photoreceptor with a pressure of 5 to 40 g/cm, and the coefficient of static friction between the cleaning blade and the surface of the photoreceptor is not more than 1.0.

    • An image forming apparatus comprising (a) a photoreceptor comprising an endless transparent support having thereon a transparent conductive layer, a charge carrier generation layer and a charge carrier transport layer; (b) a charger for charging uniformly the outermost surface of the photoreceptor; (c) an exposing means for having the photoreceptor exposed to light from the side of the support to form an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor; (d) a developing means for developing the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image; (e) a transfer means for transferring the toner image onto a transfer material; and (f) a fixing means for fixing the toner image transferred, wherein a transmittance of the charge carrier generation layer is 20% or less with respect to exposing light emitted from the exposing means, and a carrier drift mobility in the charge carrier transport layer is 1.times.10.sup.-6 cm.sup.2 /V.sec or more under an electric field intensity of 2.times.10.sup.5 V/cm.

    • Disclosed is an image forming method for an electrophotographic photoreceptor, comprising steps of: (1) charging said photoreceptor which is moved in a predetermined direction, (2) imagewise exposing on said charged photoreceptor, (3) developing said imagewise exposed photoreceptor with a developer to form a toner image, (4) transferring said toner image onto an image receiving material, and (5) cleaning a residual toner on said photoreceptor with a cleaning blade after transferring said toner image, wherein said cleaning blade has a fixed end portion and a free end portion, said cleaning step comprising: urging said free end portion in a direction counter to said predetermined direction of the photoreceptor, wherein said photoreceptor has a static friction coefficient of not more than 1.0 to said cleaning blade so that said free end portion of said cleaning blade is oscillated in an amplitude of 10 .mu.m to 200 .mu.m with the movement of the photoreceptor.

    • A method for forming plural images by repeating a process is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of (1) forming an electrostatic latent image on an organic photoreceptor, (2) developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the organic photoreceptor with a toner particles each of which contains domains of releasing agent having a number average domain diameter of 0.1 .mu.m to 1.1 .mu.m to form a toner image, (3) transferring the toner image to a image receiving paper using a transferring roller being pressed to the photoreceptor with a pressure of 25 g/cm.sup.2 to 1000 g/cm.sup.2, (4) separating the image receiving paper carrying the transferred toner image from the photoreceptor, (5) fixing the toner image carried on the image receiving paper, and (6) cleaning the surface of the photoreceptor.
