    • A liquid medicine self-administration device which is capable of administering a liquid medicine to a patient in a single shot and with which the refilling of the liquid medicine can be performed by a one-touch operation. The device includes a casing 1 having two open ends, a port portion 2 closing one of the open ends of the casing, a reservoir 3 attached to the port portion 2 and capable of being easily deformed by pressing and of being restored to its original shape. A pushing means 4 is slidably inserted into the other open end of the casing 1 and is adapted to press and deform the reservoir 3. The pushing means 4 comprises a cylindrical member 41 inserted into the casing 1 so as to be able to slide along the inner wall of the casing 1 and a spring 42 housed within the cylindrical member 41. The device operates such that when the cylindrical member 41 is pushed down by the pushing means 4, the cylindrical member 41 is automatically held in engagement with an engaging hook 5 while engagement of the cylindrical member 41 with the engaging hook is released by a push-button operation.

    • A flow rate control device which does not constitute an obstruction when it is connected to a liquid medicine continuous injector, which is not influenced by the body temperature of a patient and which can perform a priming operation of the liquid medicine continuous injector in a short period of time is disclosed. The control device is provided with a reservoir, a flow rate control tube and a release valve, which are preferably incorporated in a housing. The housing is provided with a through hole such that the reservoir can be pressed by a pressing means, and is also provided with a liquid medicine inlet and a liquid medicine outlet for the reservoir. A check valve is preferably provided in the liquid medicine inlet and the flow rate control tube and the release valve are provided in the liquid medicine outlet. The flow rate control tube and the release valve are provided coaxially with each other or in parallel with each other.

    • A self-administration device for liquid drugs, which can be filled in a short time without troubles such as leakage and is capable of a pushing operation in one-touch. The self-administration device for liquid drugs includes a casing 1; a port portion 2; a reservoir 3 having an open end which is closed by the port portion 2 and is capable of being restored to its original shape; and pushing means 4 for pushing the reservoir 3, wherein the reservoir 3 is pressed by the pushing means 4 to inject the liquid drug. The pushing means 4 includes a cylindrical member inserted slidably into the inner wall of the casing 1, and a spring member housed in the cylindrical member. The cylindrical member and the port position 2 are respectively provided with a male hook 425 and a female hook 25, for acting as detachable mutual engagement means.

    • A liquid medicine injection apparatus which is capable of injecting a liquid medicine at an accurate flow rate and which does not require an excessively strong force for filling the apparatus with the liquid medicine. The apparatus includes a barrel 1 provided with a port 11 at the distal end thereof and a shaft 12 extending along the longitudinal axis thereof, a hollow plunger 2 provided at its distal end with a first gasket 3 inserted into the barrel 1 while allowing the shaft 12 of the barrel to pass therethrough, and also provided at the proximal end thereof with a closing member 4 having a vent hole 41; a second gasket 5 connected to the proximal end of the shaft 12; and outside air releasing means 6 for allowing the space between the first and second gaskets to communicate with the outside air. With such an arrangement, a liquid medicine is filled into the barrel 1 due to a negative pressure generated in a third space 25 when the plunger 2 is advanced while the liquid medicine is expelled outside due to a vacuum generated in a second space 24 when the plunger 2 is moved backward.
