摘要： There is provided a fluid machine able to secure a sectional area of a passage sufficient for gaseous fluid flow from a suction port to a compression mechanism, while able at the same time to achieve a reduction in size of the outline shape. In a scroll compressor where a scroll compression mechanism 23 is housed within a housing 3 having a funnel shaped, a compression mechanism main body of the scroll compression mechanism 23 is arranged in a wide opening section of a front housing 5, and a compression mechanism driving section is arranged in a narrow section, a concave section 51 is formed on the outside of a thrust receiving surface 5B which is positioned on a bottom surface of the wide opening section and which supports the compression mechanism.

For this purpose, in a crankshaft 60 used for a driving force transmission system, a reinforced shaft unit 63 and a circular column-like large diameter unit 61 are formed at an end of a rotating shaft 16, a material is produced by a cold forging process so that an eccentric shaft 62 projects from the circular column-like large diameter unit 61, the circular column-like large diameter unit 61 is rotatably coupled to a housing 11 via a needle bearing 64, and the variable circling radius mechanism is stably operated with rigidity increased by the reinforced shaft unit 63.

A moment force about the drive central axis acting on the turning scroll is reduced during revolving, and an alternating force acting on an autorotation preventing pin in the turning scroll is reduced to an allowable level.

摘要： A scroll compressor including a fixed scroll having a spiral-shaped wall body, and a swiveling scroll which has a spiral-shaped wall body and revolves while linking together the two wall bodies. The wall bodies have steps, and side faces of two end plates have high and low bottom faces in correspondence with the steps. A tip seal is provided along a join edge which connects top edges on different sides of each step, and a mechanism is provided therebetween to prevent the tip seals from becoming removed from the join edges. Furthermore, in the same scroll compressor, tip seals are provided respectively in two grooves, and join paths are provided respectively between a high-pressure compression chamber, which is formed with the bottom faces as one section, and the two grooves. The pressure inside the high-pressure compression chamber is used as a pressing force for the tip seals.
