摘要： An ethylene graft copolymer is disclosed, which is obtained by radical polymerizing a monomer composition comprising (A) from 50 to 99.95% by weight of ethylene, (B) from 0.05 to 50% by weight of a macromonomer having a number average molecular weight of from 2,000 to 20,000 and having a (meth)acryloyl group only at one terminal of the molecular chain thereof, and (C) 0 to 49.95% by weight of other radical polymerizable monomer(s). The ethylene graft copolymer is a modifier for improving impact resistance of engineering plastics or a compatibilizer for engineering plastics to provide a molding resin composition excellent in impact resistance and oil resistance. The ethylene graft copolymer is also useful as a hot-melt adhesive or a pressure-sensitive adhesive.

摘要： A process for wet oxidation of a liquid waste effluent using a vertical-type pressure-proof container in which a free space is provided at each of the axial lower and upper ends and the remaining space between the axial ends is divided into at least two spaces, at least one serving as an effluent-descending space and the other as an effluent-ascending space, by furnishing at least one partition, which process comprising introducing a liquid waste effluent and circulating the effluent through the effluent-descending space, lower free space, effluent-ascending space and upper free space while oxidizing the effluent with an oxidizing gas ejected upward into the effluent-ascending space and withdrawing the oxidized effluent and used oxidizing gas through an outlet provided at the top of the container.
