    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer polymer emulsion which is excellent in low-temperature film formation properties in the absence of a film formation assistant and can form a film excellent in strength and surface nontackiness; and a water-based emulsin coating material containing the emulsion and useful especially for building interiors and exteriors.
      SOLUTION: The multilayered polymer emulsion does not substantially contain a volatile organic compound. In the emulsion, a polymer for forming the innermost layer has a glass transition temperature of 35-120°C; a polymer for forming the intermediate layer has a glass transition temperature of -65 to 0°C; a polymer for forming the outermost layer has a glass transition temperature of 35-120°C; the wt. ratio (in terms of solid content) of innermost layer/intermediate layer/outermost layer is (3-30)/(50-92)/(5-40); and the emulsion particle size is 0.20-2.0μm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute physical reinforcement while preventing deterioration caused by decay and damages from termites by a method wherein a hollow anchor pin is driven into an external wall and liquid resin containing chemical agent is injected into an injection hole of the anchor pin, and the liquid resin is made to flow through holes communicating with the outside of the anchor pin to the surroundings of the anchor pin main body, and thereby the vicinity of a ground board is reinforced. SOLUTION: A hole for driving an anchor pin therein is provided at an existing external wall, and a hollow anchor pin is driven into the hole. Holes communicating with the outside are provided at the pin head of the anchor pin. Then, a nozzle of a liquid resin injection container 11 is inserted into the injection hole 7 of the hollow anchor pin, and liquid resin 12 containing chemical agent is injected. The liquid resin 12 flows out to the surroundings round the hollow anchor pin and is spread out to a bordering part 13 between a ground board 1 and a mortar layer 2 of the external wall, and reinforcement is made therewith at the vicinity of the ground board 1. Therefore, the external wall surface is not only reinforced physically, but also prevented from deteriorating by decay and damages from termites when repairs, remodeling or repainting is made at the external wall of a wooden house.
