      SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises a base coating (I) and a diluent (II). In this composition, the base coating (I) comprises a cellulose derivative (A), an acrylic resin (B), a polyester resin (C) and at least one organic solvent (D) selected from an ester-based organic solvent and ketone-based organic solvent, wherein the cellulose derivative (A) accounts for 5-75 wt.% of the total solids of the components (A), (B) and (C), and for the diluent (II), an aliphatic hydrocarbon-based organic solvent (E) accounts for 5-90 wt.% of the whole diluent (II), and the base coating (I) is preferably a metallic base coating.
