    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a COcollection device and method further improving energy efficiency.SOLUTION: The COcollection device has an absorption tower 13 for removing COby bringing a CO-containing gas 11 into contact with a CO-absorbing liquid 12, and a regeneration tower 15 for regenerating a CO-rich solution 14, wherein at the regeneration tower 15, a lean solution 16 in which CO2 is removed is reused in the absorption tower 13. Besides, the device is provided with: a regeneration heater 18 which extracts outside the lean solution 16 collected in the vicinity of the bottom of the tower 15 to perform a heat exchange by a high-temperature steam 17; and a heat exchanger 21 using a steam-condensed water, which is provided in a rich solution-feeding pipe 20 for feeding the rich solution 14 from the absorption tower 13 to the tower 15 and heats the rich solution 14 by utilizing the remaining heat of the steam-condensed water 19 from the heater 18.
