    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a bridge, and a side floor slab mounting device for the bridge minimizing restrictions on construction such as traffic regulations without causing an increase in a construction cost or the extension of a construction period.
      SOLUTION: A side floor slab 5 is transported into a predetermined position on a main girder 4 by a truck 6. There is thereby no need to lift the side floor slab 5 from a road by a truck crane or the like, nor need to provide an installation space and a working space for the truck crane or the like. In mounting the side floor slab to the side of the main girder 4, the side floor slab 5 is conveyed by a conveying device 13 of the side floor slab mounting device 10, and the fall of the side floor slab 5 is prevented by a fall preventive structure 14. There is thereby no need to limit passing of persons and vehicles below the side floor slab 5 during fixing work. Restrictions on traffic regulations or the like can thereby be minimized on the road or the like below and in a surrounding area below an upper construction 1B under construction, and restrictions on construction can be considerably relieved.

      SOLUTION: RC rod-like dampers 21 also serving as connecting members are installed in a form similar to the intermediate beams between RC columns 2 constituting the seismic response controlled bridge pier 1. In the RC rod-like dampers 21, reinforcing bars 22 for energy absorption or PC steel extending in a longitudinal direction are embedded in concrete, and the end sections of the RC rod-like dampers 21 are inserted in the restricting holes 24 of circular restricting pipes 23 having a circularly formed inner surface. When the RC columns 2 are bent and deformed by an earthquake, such bending deformations as to cause vertical displacements occur in the RC rod-like dampers 21, and the reinforcing bars 22 etc. in the RC rod-like dampers 21 are elastically deformed to absorb vibration energies generated at the earthquake. The deformation of the RC columns 2 thereby falls within an elastic range even at the time of, for example, a level 2 earthquake.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing temporary support concretes which can reduce noise and oscillation when removing the concrete to restrict the influence to the surrounding environment.SOLUTION: Vinyl sheets 15a are laid on a top end 3 of a bridge pier 1, and temporary support concretes 5 comprising a plurality of blocks 5a and blocks 5b are placed thereon. Vinyl sheets 15b are laid on top faces 25 of the temporary support concretes 5. Joint materials 17 are placed between the adjacent blocks 5a and the blocks 5b. Then, a girder 7 is overhang-erected while being supported by the temporary support concretes 5. After the completion of the girder 7, the blocks 5a placed in the positions where temporary receiving jacks 21 are to be placed are separated by a core drill and so on and removed. The temporary receiving jacks 21 are placed in spaces 19 where the blocks 5a are removed and an upper load is replaced to the temporary receiving jacks 21. The remaining blocks 5b are separated and removed as the blocks 5a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower like structure with an inexpensive damping device with small noise.
      SOLUTION: A lamppost 1 has a tapered part 3 with a hollow interior, a bent pipe part 5, an illuminating lamp 7 and a base plate 9. It has a cable 11 used as the damping device in a hollow portion of the interior. An upper end of the cable 11 is fixed, and the cable 11 is in a suspended state. The cable 11 has a core in a center part and a structure covered by an elastic body in an outer circumference, and a ready-made power cable can be used. By providing the cable 11, vibration of the lamppost 1 is damped.
