摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording sheet having an ink accepting layer excellent in ink coloring and water resistance. SOLUTION: In the ink-jet recording sheet in which the ink accepting layer is formed at least on one side of a support, the layer contains a urethane resin of 50-90 deg. contact angle with water as a main component and 30-60 vol.% of amorphous synthetic silica particles. The average particle size of the silica particles is preferably 1-20 μm.

SOLUTION: An ink accepting layer contains a urethane resin as a main component and amorphous synthetic silica particles the surfaces of which are modified with a silane coupling agent. Preferably, the contact angle with water of the urethane resin is 50-90 deg., and the resin contains 30-60 vol.% of the silica particles. In addition, the average particle size of the silica particles is preferably 1-20 μm.

CONSTITUTION:A material to which a filling of nylon piles whose thickness is 2 deniers and fiber length is 1mm has been applied is used as a master form material, to which templating uncured silicone rubber is applied and a cured silicone pattern obtained by curing the material is fitted, for example, to rayon woven fabric whose density is high as an endless belt 8 and a compound sheet 1 obtained by laminating the same with an acrylic resin sheet and soft polyvinyl chloride sheet under heating is used for the titled material. As for treating terms, fusion is performed by setting up a heating device 3, heating roll 4 and pressurizing rolls 5, 6 through heating so that heating at the temperature of 130-250 deg.C is performed for 5-600sec under pressure of 1-80kg/cm . The compound sheet is pierced through so that the surface of the same confronting with the endless belt 8 becomes an acrylic resin sheet, which is wound round a wind-up part 16 by peeling off from the endless belt 8 after cooling the same by cooling rolls 13, 14.
