摘要： PURPOSE:To simply and quickly repair a steel tapping hole in a converter at low cost by tilting the converter after inserting a pipe for repairing the converter steel tapping hole into the steel tapping hole in the converter and solidifying after flowing the remaining slag into the gap part between the above pipe and existing refractory. CONSTITUTION:Monolithic refractory 1 is lined between the converter iron shell 6 and permanent lining 2 and a steel tapping hole founder refractory 4 and converter wear brick 5 are laid, to compose the converter lining for steel tapping hole. According to the increase in the number of times the converter is used, the above founder refractory 4, etc., is worn along the erosion line 7. Under such condition, the pipe 16 for repairing the converter steel tapping hole is inserted into the steel tapping hole in the converter through attachment 17 with the blowing slag 15 left remaining. Next, the converter is tilted with the pipe 16 inserted in the steel tapping hole, to flow the remained slag 15 toward the steel tapping hole. In this way, the remaining slag 15 is filled up between the pipe 16 and the existing refractory, to cool and solidify.

摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out repairing guaranteeing a long endurance life by charging a specified amount of basic refractory blocks having a specified size into molten slag remaining in a converter to hold the slag in a killed state. CONSTITUTION:When the wall of the charge side of a converter is hot repaired, about 2/3 of produced slag is discharged after discharging steel. Basic refractory blocks having 50-400mm., especially 100-200mm. size are charged by 5-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. remaining molten slag, and the slag is cooled, stuck to the molten part and solidified to carry out repairing. Magnesia brick, magnesia-chrome brick, dolomite brick, magnesia-carbon brick or the like is used as the basic refractory. The endurance life of the converter repaired by this repairing method can be elongated by >=10 times of a converter repaired by a conventional repairing method.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce repairing cost of a submerged tube and to lengthen the service life by packing refractory particles near a gas blowing hole and monolithic refractory the other part in gap between inner wall of a sleeve brick having a through hole and remaining refractory. CONSTITUTION:In a submerged tube 1 for treating molten metal with an iron shell 20 covered with the refractory which is arranged with at least one of gas blowing hole 2, the inner wall is formed with the sleeve brick 5 and the through hole 9 is bored at the position corresponding to the above gas blowing hole 2. In the gap between the remaining refractory 8 and the above sleeve brick 5 for this submerged tube 1, the refractory particles 11 are packed near the above gas blowing hole 2, and in the other part, the monolithic refractory 6 is packed. The above refractory particles 11 are made to about 3-5mm particle size to secure permeability of the blowing gas and prevent penetration of the monolithic refractory 6. By this method, the submerged tube 1 which is easily repaired, has a long service life and can surely executed gas blow treatment is obtd.
