摘要： Refractory shaped articles or repair applications formed by flame application are, according to the invention, composed of a solidified phase which is formed from molten, fine, refractory particles and non-molten, coarse, refractory particles which are dispersed in the solidified phase. The shaped articles or applications have high thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance. They are produced by flame application of fine, refractory particles and coarse, refractory particles together in a mould or onto a substrate, for example onto a section of a furnace to be repaired.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable improvement of performance as the whole nozzle by dividing the nozzle into a lower part straight stream part and an upper part fitting and distributing part made of formed refractory, joining these with monolithic refractory and assembling. CONSTITUTION:By using the nozzle 1 for continuous casting, a flat slab is manufactured. The nozzle 1 is divided into the lower part straight stream part 2 and the upper part fitting and distributing part and these are joined with the monolithic refractory 6 and assembled. Then, the lower part straight stream part 2 is manufactured with forming refractory and made to flat cylindrical cross section and screw part 3 is arranged at the one end part and single or plural pieces thereof are set. The upper part fitting and distributing part 4 is manufactured with forming refractory and at the center part thereof, the molten metal pouring hole 5 is arranged and this refractory is faced to the screw part 3 side in the lower part straight part 2. The screw part 3 is covered with the monolithic refractory 6 and the outer peripheral face thereof is closely held with iron shell 8. By this method, this nozzle remarkably contributes to the reduction of production cost.

One face of the thick part 7 arranges the joining face 8 forming flat surface mutually slidable and cutout part 9 at edge part thereof, and after joining, the glassy material is packed in a V groove 10 at the edge part as the sealing material. Bolts 12 and nuts 13 are fitted in through holes 11 and assembled. Even if the difference is developed in heating condition to both divided piece plates 4, 5, heat stress is not developed as the whole nozzle and the crack and warp are not developed.

摘要： The invention relates to flocculant beta -SiC which consists mainly of [lacuna] SiC and has been produced from an organic silicon polymer which contains the carbon and silicon atoms as the main components of the basic skeleton, and to a process for preparing such flocculant beta -SiC and to its use, particularly as a starting material for ceramic products having a laminar structure and for refractory materials. The ceramic products and refractory materials containing such a beta -SiC are notable for excellent resistance to thermal shock, thermal fatigue and oxidation.
