摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove bacteria without using chemical liquid by providing a nitrification tank, into which carrier particles on which nitrifying bacteria are immobilized are filled so that the carrier particles are brought into contact with hot water under aerobic conditions, and a membrane separation device. SOLUTION: In the hot water purifying device, hot water 1 is introduced into a nitrification tank 3 filled with carrier particles 6, on which bacteria are immobilized, by means of a pump 2 to treat bacteria under aerobic conditions. An air diffusing device 4 is provided at the bottom of the tank 3 to supply oxygen required for nitrification and to fluidize the carrier particles. At the outlet of the tank 3, there is provided a screen 7 to prevent the particles 6 from flowing out. The treated hot water is fed to a membrane separation device 8 by a pump 5. Whereupon, the carrier particles 6 on which bacteria are immobilized are filled into the tank 3. As a carrier to immobilize bacteria, active carbon or a hydrogel such as polyurethane sponge are used. As the device 8, a membrane module is used. A separation membrane for use in the separation membrane, polysulfone resin is used.
