    • PURPOSE:To restrain oil from running out, which leaks from an ambient air inflow port to the outside since oil counter-flows due to blow-back of gas in an oil tank type air cleaner. CONSTITUTION:An oil tank 3 is removably attached to the lower part of a case body 2 of an aircleaner 1. In the case body 2, an ambient air inverting chamber 4, a filter chamber 5 and a purified air outlet chamber 6 are arranged upward in that order, and are communicated with one another, and further, an ambient air suction port 7 in the upper part of the case body 2 is communicated with the ambient air inverting chamber 4 through the intermediary of an ambient air suction passage 8 which longitudinally pierces the center part of the case body 2. An impingement plate 10 defining therein a plurality of air communication holes 9 is provided in the ambient air inverting chamber 4 so that the impingement plate 10 faces the outlet 8a of the ambient air suction passage 8.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhauster for 4-cylinder engine, which can lower the exhaust noise. SOLUTION: In an exhauster for a 4-cylinder engine, a first exhaust manifold 6a, which connects a first exhaust pipe 9 with a second exhaust pipe 10, a second exhaust manifold 8a, which connects a third exhaust pipe 11 with a fourth exhaust pipe 12, are provided. The first exhaust manifold 6a and the second exhaust manifold 8a are formed into nearly the same shape and symmetrically with the right and left, while an interference reducing muffler 26, which extends in the longitudinal direction in which the cylinders are arranged and which is of almost a cylindrical shape, is provided. In this case, a first exhaust port 5a of a first confluent pipe 14a and a second exhaust port 7a of a second confluent pipe 15a are connected with the interference reducing muffler 26. In addition, an interval between two exhaust ports 5a and 7a is set at a prescribed length (d) so that the pulsation of the exhaust coming out of the exhaust ports 5a, 7a is canceled with each other at the prescribed engine speed. With this constitution, the final noise which is released from a muffler outlet 27 toward the outside can be lessened.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the sliding resistance of a valve bridge by penetratingly providing an oil discharge hole from the insertion hole of the valve bridge toward the outer face of the valve bridge so as to face the inlet of the oil discharge hole to a sliding face between the insertion hole and a support shaft and face the outlet of the discharge hole to the outer face of the valve bridge. CONSTITUTION:An oil discharge hole 14 is penetratedly provided from the insertion hole 3 of a valve bridge 2 toward the outer face 12 of the valve bridge 2 so that, for example, when the valve bridge 2 lowers to a support shaft 1, lubricating oil covering a sliding face 11 is guided from the inlet 14a of the oil discharge hole 14 to its outlet 14b. Therefore, if impurities such as dust are mixed in the lubricating oil guided to the insertion hole 3, the impurities in the lubricating oil are also discharged to the outside of the valve bridge 2 via the oil discharge hole 14 by following the flow of this lubricating oil. Moreover, contact area between the valve bridge 2 and the support shaft 1 becomes smaller by a space of the oil discharge hole 14 opened in the insertion hole 3 so that sliding resistance in raising/lowering of the valve bridge 2 is decreased.
