摘要： PURPOSE:To save the space and simplify the fitting construction by forming circumferential grooves in a short pipe with one end inner diameter thereof set to receive the outer periphery of a pipe spigot and the other end inner diameter thereof set to receive the opening end outer periphery of a pipe socket, and inserting C-type rings, provided with the inner peripheral faces thereof formed into slip preventing faces and the outer peripheral faces thereof formed into slide faces, into both grooves. CONSTITUTION:The inner diameter of one end 11A is set to the inner diameter d1 for receiving the outer periphery of a pipe spigot A, and the inner diameter of the other end 11B is set to the inner diameter d2 for receiving the outer periphery of a pipe socket B. At the opening ends of a short pipe 11 of different inner diameters d1, d2, circumferential grooves 14A, 14B are formed in such a way that the bottom faces 13A, 13B are tapered toward the pipe end direction (an arrow mark X). Inside the circumferential grooves 14A, 14B, C-type rings 15A, 15B are inserted in such a way that the inner peripheral faces thereof are formed into slip preventing faces that can be brought into contact with the outer faces of the pipe spigot A and the pipe socket B and that the outer peripheral faces thereof are formed slide faces that can be brought into contact with the bottom faces 13A, 13B of the circumferential grooves 14A, 14B. This results in making the whole structure compact, facilitating fitting work and preventing slip-off by the C-type rings.
