    • A plastid transformation system for preventing the intramolecular recombination which is caused by a foreign gene terminator having identical nucleotide sequence to that of a previously present terminator is provided to mass produce a foreign protein by inhibiting production of the abnormal plastid genome caused by the intramolecular recombination. A plastid transformation expression vector for expression of a foreign gene contains a clp promoter of SEQ ID NO:1 derived from the rice, an rrnB1B2 terminator of SEQ ID NO:2 derived from Escherichia coli and a foreign gene encoding GFP(green fluorescent protein). A plastid transformed plant which is asexually propagated by tissue culture and mass-produces the foreign protein from the plastid is produced by transforming a plant with the plastid transformation expression vector for expression of the foreign gene, wherein the plant is Arabidopsis thaliana, potato, tomato, cotton plant, soybean, rape, petunia, corn, carrot, rice, sweet potato, red pepper, Chinese cabbage, radish, watermelon, cucumber, melon, chrysanthemum, rose or carnation.
