    • A 3D shape restoration method and a device of an object using multi-viewpoint image information are provided to obtain a realistic image by rendering restored results, thereby showing an excellent restoration quality for 3D shape restoration of a dynamic object. A silhouette and color extractor(104) inputs multi-viewpoint images for taking pictures of an object at various viewpoints. The silhouette and color extractor extracts silhouette information and color information. A visual hull restorer(106) configures a visual hull through silhouette intersection. A polygon approximation unit(108) moves along with a section of the visual hull. The polygon approximation unit approximates a sectional polygon to a geometric external form of the object by using the color information. A mesh structure generator(110) connects the approximated polygon in mesh structure. The mesh structure generator expresses a 3D geometric external form of the object.

    • PURPOSE: A device and a method for extracting a correspondence relation among aerial images are provided to form a correspondence relation between images in a place without regional features by using a macroscopic relation of buildings in aerial images of a city. CONSTITUTION: A device for extracting a correspondence relation among aerial images comprises a line extracting unit(70), a line direction determining unit(80), a building upper area extracting unit(90), and a correspondence relation extracting unit(120). The line extracting unit extracts lines corresponding to buildings from two or more aerial images. The line direction determining unit respectively defines directions of the liner as an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis based on the coordinate system of 2D images. The building upper area extracting unit extracts a building upper area of a square formed by rotating the lines corresponding to the X-axis to a horizontal direction of the 2D images and the lines corresponding to the Y-axis to be parallel with a vertical direction of the 2D images. The correspondence relation extracting unit extracts a correspondence relation between the aerial images by respectively comparing the building upper area extracted from the aerial images.
