摘要： The present invention relates to a multimedia data processing method by a framework, in which the framework is capable of directly controlling data input and output of components in a state of the framework being interposed between the components and an application program, thereby reducing the time and effort involved in developing the components or the application program. The multimedia data processing method of the present invention is performed by a multimedia framework between the application program and at least one component for basically supporting an indirect communication mode in which the multimedia framework controls data input and output and for selectively supporting a direct communication mode in which the multimedia framework does not control the data input and output. The method comprises the steps of: (a) inquiring about a supportable communication mode of the component; and (b) configuring a media graph by selectively using the indirect communication mode or the direct communication mode if the component supports the direct communication mode, according to the result of the inquiry in the step (a).

摘要： The present invention relates to a multimedia-data-processing method which enables a media graph to always be constructed in a "connection without negotiation" manner, on the basis of an already known media graph construction, and thus provides a media framework in which procedures for connecting components are minimized, thereby improving the performance of a system and satisfying the requests of an OS platform builder and a media application developer. The multimedia-data-processing method of the present invention is performed by a multimedia framework, and comprises: (a) a step of receiving component information required for the construction of the media graph and component connection information from a media application; and (b) a step of ensuring that the media graph is constructed by the content received in step (a), and that the media graph waits for a rendering command, thereby eliminating the necessity of permitting the media application to check the construction of the media graph.

摘要： A hingeless eyeglass using a shape-memory alloy is disclosed, in which the eyeglass legs can be folded in spite of the lack of the hinge assembly. The eyeglass has two legs connected to two non-framed lenses respectively directly, the legs being made of a shape-memory alloy. Each of the legs includes: a hook-shaped leading end engaging part, with its one end being fastened directly to the lens by using a screw; an arcuate elastic bent part extending from the hook-shaped leading end engaging part and capable of being freely bent and unbent so as to play a role of a hinge; and a straight ear-engaging part with a straight shape for being engaged on an ear. The eyeglass further includes a nose leg with a pair of nose pads installed thereon and is made of the shape-memory alloy.

摘要： The present invention relates to a production method for a monohydric alcohol from a monocarboxylic acid or from a derivative thereof. In the present invention, use is made of a catalyst comprising Ru and Sn components on a zinc-oxide (ZnO) carrier, or a catalyst produced by further adding a limited amount of an inorganic binder such as a titanium oxide or else silica or alumina in order to make the catalyst comprising the components better formable, or a catalyst improved by further adding one or more enhancing component chosen from the group comprising reductive components such as Co, Ni, Cu, Ag, Rh, Pd, Re, Ir and Pt in order to enhance the reducing ability of the catalyst. In this way, the present invention makes it possible to produce a monohydric alcohol in a high yield whether or not water is contained in the monocarboxylic acid or the derivative thereof which constitutes the starting material, and makes it possible to produce a monohydric alcohol using a method which is economical since it exhibits high selectivity and high productivity even though it can be implemented under very much more moderate reaction conditions than catalysts of known inventions, and also makes it possible to use the catalyst to advantage in industrial production applications since the catalyst has outstanding long-term reaction stability.
