    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve capacity by providing a second carrying system branched from and joined to a first carrying system carrying photographic paper to a processing part and joining the photographic paper printed by a second exposing system to the first carrying system. SOLUTION: Photographic film F is carried in the direction of an arrow B, and normal print photographic paper P is simultaneously successively carried to a first exposing system 4, so that printing is performed. A normal print printed is sent to a photosensitive material processor 2 through the first carrying system 6. An index print where all image frames are gathered on the photographic paper E previously carried to the second carrying system 7 branched from and joined to the first carrying system 6 is printed by the second exposing system 8. This processing is performed in parallel with normal printing at the first exposing system 4. At the point of time when the photographic paper P for the last frame portion of a normal photographic print passes a joined part 20, the photographic paper E printed by the second exposing system 8 is joined at the joined part 20 by the second carrying system 7 and is carried to a processing part 51.

    • PURPOSE:To offer a photograph printing device which performs processing in a stage where films whose number of frames are different coexist by tempo rarily stopping the feed of the film and letting an operator confirm the frame number of an image frame when the end number of every sort of film appears in the case of incrementing the frame number of the image frame accompanied with the feed of the film. CONSTITUTION:There are assortments of negative films for filming 12 frames, 24 frames and 36 frames, etc., and the last frame number is expressed with a mark E. Then, the frame number is altered according to the kind of the film. For example, M is previously inputted to be registered for the frame number such as 13 and 25 from a keyboard 22 for inputting information. The incremented frame number is compared with the frame number M thus regis tered, and when they coincide with each other, an alarm is given to the operator to demand that the frame number should be confirmed and the feed of the film is stopped. In such a case, the operator examines the sort of the film and corrects the frame number to the mark E when the film is for filming 12 frames. The correction is performed from the keyboard 22 for inputting.

The encoder circuit 45e uses the inputted pulses as clock pulses for writing to the magnetic recording layer and the clock pulses and data to be recorded magnetically from the printer control part 44 are coded into signal form matching the magnetic recording and sent to the magnetic head 32.

Proofreading operation is performed by selecting a proofread image memory 38 according to image pickup screen information on an original image. Namely, proofread images consisting of reference images of an element absent negative are previously stored in the proofread image memories 38 by film sizes and printing directions and a corresponding proofread image is properly selected according to the detected image pickup screen image, thereby proofreading the image by a CPU 36.

Since it is possible to transfer the plurality of recording media separately by the plurality of parallel arranged transfer paths and to record to the plurality of recording media, it becomes possible to print the photographic image to one recording medium and to print character information related to the photographic image information to another recording medium at the same timing.
