摘要： A first responder network is a network that is used by first responders for communicating between devices typically used by first responding officers. An MCI describes an incident in which emergency medical services are overwhelmed by the number and severity of casualties. A wireless communication system for first responder networks is proposed that can securely register (onboard) a variety of wireless devices to ensure a quicker response time in the MCI area. Existing wireless devices belonging to both triage officers and casualties in the MCI area can automatically be registered to a first responder network to enhance coverage in the MCI area. Expansion of a wireless infrastructure of the first responder network can be enabled by securely registering alien central nodes (e.g., base stations) on an on-demand basis.

摘要： A sensor system comprises first and second PPG sensors. A monitoring system monitors detection by at least one of the first and second detectors an optical calibration signals, for performing time calibration between the first and second PPG sensors. This system makes use of two PPG sensors. To enable these sensors to be independent units, rather than being fully integrated into a combined system, a calibration system is provided. Based on detected optical signals, the behavior over time of each PPG sensor can be monitored and thus calibration can take place.

摘要： A wearable device may take a set of health inputs from embedded body sensors for the duration of an activity performed by a user of the wearable device. Based on these inputs, the wearable device can calculate a health parameter (e.g., calories burned during the activity). The wearable device can also track its location during the activity, and provide this location to a geolocation data network. The geolocation data network may provide geolocation data (e.g., weather / environmental / terrain data) pertaining to the wearable device's location. The wearable device can then modify its measurements and/or calculated health parameters based on the geolocation data (e.g. Increasing calories burned during a run due to high heat and uphill terrain in the location of the run).
