摘要： This invention relates to a method and a system of evaluating toxicity level of a patient undergoing a cancer treatment protocol. Patient's related data including biomarkers of toxicity level caused by said cancer treatment are received. These biomarkers of toxicity level are then compared with a range of reference biomarkers of toxicity level caused during a similar cancer treatment. Finally, an alert signal is issued in case the biomarkers of toxicity level fall outside said range of reference biomarkers of toxicity level.

摘要： An ECG monitoring system for ambulatory patients includes a small multi-electrode patch that adhesively attaches to the chest of a patient. A reusable battery-powered ECG monitor clips onto the patch and receives patient electrical signals from the electrodes of the patch. A processor continuously processes received ECG signals and a wireless transceiver in the ECG monitor transmits the event information and an ECG strip to a cellphone handset. The cellphone handset automatically relays the event information and ECG strip to a monitoring center. The cellphone handset is operated by custom software which controls the transfer of information between the monitoring center and the patient's monitor, the functions of the user controls of the cellphone, and the display graphics.

摘要： A system and a method are described for determining a stress level of a person based on the performance of the person in a game or puzzle. First, in a calibration phase the person is asked to judge his/her currently experienced stress level (120) and the person is asked to play (130) a game or puzzle resulting in a certain performance score. Subsequently in this calibration phase, the system links (150) the indicated stress level and the performance score. By repeating these steps a number of times, the system builds a table linking game performance scores and stress levels. The calibration phase will be executed initially and once every while to keep the system calibrated. Subsequently, in an operational phase, the person is occasionally asked (220) to play a game. Then, based on the current performance score and on the table assembled in the calibration phase, the system determines (250) the current stress level. Depending on the level, and on the period over which the level continues, the system may undertake some action (260), such as alerting the person or providing distraction.
