摘要： The invention relates to an electricity supply apparatus, an elevator system and a method for limiting the electricity consumption of an elevator system. The electricity supply apparatus (1) according to the invention is fitted to supply electricity to one or more devices (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in an elevator system. The minimum value (7a) of the permitted supply voltage with which the apparatus still operates is determined for one or more appliances (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of the elevator system, and the electricity supply apparatus (1) is equipped to change the supply voltage (8) of the one or more appliances (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of the elevator system towards the minimum value (7a) of the permitted supply voltage for limiting electricity consumption of the elevator system.

Each of said safety switch arrangements comprises at least one first resistor (38) and a safety switch (36) which are connected in series, the value of the first resistor (38) is different in at least some safety switch arrangements (20-28), preferably in all safety switch arrangements, and each safety switch arrangement (20-28) comprises at least a second resistor (40) connected in parallel with the safety switch (36), which second resistor has a higher value than the first resistor (38). The invention allows the detection of a short circuit as well as of the opening of a safety switch arrangement.
