摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut reinforcements buried to an existing pipe made of reinforced concrete efficiently and surely by forming the spiral type edge section of a spiral type roller cutter in a plurality of strips in a cutter head for a tunnel boring machine. SOLUTION: Cutter bits 4 are fixed onto a cutter head 1 for a tunnel boring machine while spiral type roller cutters 3, 3 and disk cutters 5, 5 are installed rotatably. The spiral type edge sections 3a of the spiral type roller cutters 3, 3 are formed in a plurality of strips at pitch angles of 20-80 deg., and the pitch angles are oppositely directed mutually as occasion calls. When one of the spiral type roller cutters 3 is replaced with a discoidal roller cutter and the discoidal roller cutter is mounted in the front in a fixed quantity, the concrete section of an existing pipe is crushed by the discoidal roller cutter, and projecting reinforcements are bent in the direction of rotation of the cutter head 1, and cut by the spiral type roller cutter 3. Accordingly, the reinforcements buried to the existing pipe are cut efficiently and surely by the spiral type roller cutters 3.

SOLUTION: A support shaft 3 is fixed to a bearing bracket 2 mounted on a cutter head, and a cutter ring 6 is turnably supported by the shaft 3 through a flanged bush 5 to constitute a disk cutter 1. A floating seal 7 to elastically support a seal ring 7b by an O-ring 7a is interposed between the cutter 6 and the bracket 2 outside each end part of the bush 5, and the lubricating oil is sealed inside thereof. The ingress of excavated earth and sand into a slidably contant part is prevented with the seal during the execution, and the load to be applied in the thrust direction by the eccentric load when the cutter 6 is turned, is supported by a flanged part 5a of the bush. Loads in various directions to be applied to the cutter ring can be coped with, the structure can be simplified compared with a conventional cutter disk using a roller type bearing, and the cutter disk can be miniaturized.

When a pin 23 is inserted into the pinhole 21b of the fitting shaft 21 and the pinhole 22b of a fitting hole member 22, the inside diameter section 24a of a C-shaped ring 24 is fitted to the small diametral section 23a of the pin 23, and the outside diameter section 24b of the ring 24 press-contacts the pinhole 21b of the fitting shaft 21a. When the screws 12b are separated mutually, the pin 23 is removed from the pinholes 21b, 22b. Accordingly, the screw conveyor can be assembled simply. Since no bolt and nut is projected from the screws 12b, the conveyance resistance of soil and sand can be lowered.
