    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting module that can be adapted to a complicated light-emitting shape and achieves high luminous flux and uniform light emission even in a complicated light-emitting shape.SOLUTION: A light-emitting module 20 is formed in a manner that a plurality of light-emitting elements 22 emitting an ultraviolet ray or short wavelength visible light are arranged in a two-dimensional prescribed shape on a support board 26, and the light-emitting elements 22 are connected in line with fluorescent substance-containing resin 24 including fluorescent substance 25a and the like emitting visible light excited by an ultraviolet ray or short wavelength visible light. The light-emitting module 20 achieves high luminous flux and uniform light emission even if it has a complicated light-emitting shape because white light is obtained only from light-emitting of the fluorescent substance 25a and the like. Executing program control of a dispenser only to connect light-emitting elements 22 scattered on the board surface 26 in a desired light-emitting shape makes it possible to form light emission having two-dimensional stretch such as letters and figures. In addition, if the support board 26 is made of FPC, a curvature-free light-emitting module 20 can be formed, which facilitates light-emitting formation at a three-dimensional curvature place.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting module which improves light extraction efficiency in a light-emitting module using a phosphor which is excited to emit light by an ultraviolet ray or short wavelength visible light, and also reduces unevenness in luminance.SOLUTION: A plurality of light-emitting elements 14 which emit an ultraviolet ray or short wavelength visible light are arranged in linear form, and sealing resins 30 containing a phosphor 25a, etc. which is excited by light from the light source to emit light are molded in shape of a dome on top of each of the light-emitting elements 14, the light-emitting elements 14 being interconnected by the sealing resins 30, in which way the light-emitting module is formed. Because of this construction, the sealing resins come in substantially the same thickness from the light-emitting elements, and a difference between bright and dark parts appearing on the surfaces of the sealing resins depending on the distance from the light-emitting elements is reduced, so is the unevenness in luminance on the module surface. Since light from the phosphor is radiated to the outside of the sealing resins without being totally reflected on the boundary surface, light extraction efficiency is improved. The amount of the sealing resins used can be reduced, and the product cost of the module can therefore be cut down.
