    • PURPOSE:To provide a sealing device of a closed kneader, which supplies an appropriate amount of lubricant in response to a change in the rotating speed of a rotor and thereby eliminates the wasteful consumption of lubricant. CONSTITUTION:The sealing device is equipped with a collar ring 3 as a surface sealing element which is fitted into the shaft part of a rotor 2 for kneading rubber rotating in a kneading chamber 1 with an opening 8 provided on the both side surfaces 7 and acts to block the opening 8, and a seal ring 4 which is energized toward the sealing surface 3a of the collar ring 3 and movable in an axial direction in the opening 8. In addition, the sealing device 11 of a closed kneader is equipped with an oiling mechanism 5 with a pump for injecting lubricant into the seal surface 3a of the sealing ring 4. Further, the sealing device 11 has a control part 9 which rotated the rotor 2 using a variable speed motor M1, and also activates a motor M2 for pumping the oiling mechanism at variable speed with another feature to interlock the number of motor rotation of the rotor 2 to the motor rotation of the pump.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oozing of a kneading material out of a seal part by a kneading interior pressure in addition to preventing the sealing surface from wearing down. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a sealing pressure imparting circuit E imparting a sealing surface pressure to a seal device of a rotor contained in a kneading chamber, a drop door drive circuit C having a first a solenoid valve 39 for a drop door which controls operation of a drop door 15 closing a bottom surface of the kneading chamber and a power circuit A supplying a pressure oil to sealing surface pressure imparting circuit E, and the drop door drive circuit C. Then, the sealing surface pressure imparting circuit E is connected to the pressure oil supplying circuit of the power circuit A and the sealing surface pressure imparting circuit E is provided with a second solenoid valve 44 for imparting the sealing surface pressure with on-off control of a plumbing of the pressure oil by interlocking to the first solenoid valve 39 for the drop door of the drop door drive circuit C. The pressure oil is supplied by the second solenoid valve 6 for imparting the sealing surface pressure after an elapse of a predetermined time, after the first a solenoid valve 39 for the drop door is controlled to open the drop door 15.

    • PURPOSE:To improve gripping and extruding capacity of a material in a feed part by a method wherein two screws which are flush with each other are arranged in parallel with each other, a hopper is arranged extending over feed parts of the screws each and a length of a compression part to the diameter of the screw is specified. CONSTITUTION:Two screws 2 which are flush with each other are arranged within a casing 1 in parallel with each other and turnably and a hopper 3 is arranged extending over feed parts 5 of the two screws each. Screw blade 7 is formed on the feed part 5 and a compression part 6 of the screw 2. A screw pitch of the blade 7 is an unequal pitch where its feed part 5 is long and compression part 6 is short and when size of the outside diameter and a length of the compression part 6 are D and L respectively, they are set up in a formula of L/D=0.3-0.6. The two screws 2 are in an engaged or nonengaged state and they are provided arrangeably by changing a phase by 0 deg. or 180 deg. (provided that this is of an angle formed by the screw blade 7 on the same section meeting at right angles with an axis) in accordance with contents of composition and characteristics of an extruded material.
