    • The present invention relates to a tunable optical device (1), comprising: a first optical element (10) having a first surface (10b), a second optical element (30) having a first surface (30a), wherein the two first surfaces (10b, 30a) face each other, and an elastically deformable body (20) arranged between the two optical elements (10, 30), wherein said body (20) comprises a first surface (20a) and a second surface (20b) facing away from the first surface (20a) of said body (20), wherein the first surface (20a) of said body (20) is attached to the first surface (10b) of the first optical element (10), and wherein the second surface (20b) of said body (20) is attached to the first surface (30a) of the second optical element (30), wherein the optical device (1) comprises a reluctance actuator means (40) that is designed to move the first optical element (10) so as to elastically deform said body (20), wherein said reluctance actuator means (40) comprises a first electrically conducting coil (400), a first magnetic flux return structure (600) being arranged adjacent to said coil (400), and a magnetic flux guiding structure (500) attached to the first optical element (10), wherein said magnetic flux guiding structure (500) is particularly separated from said first magnetic flux return structure (600) by a first gap (G), and wherein the optical device (1) is designed to apply a current to said first coil (400) such that magnetic flux generated by the first coil (400) is guided by the first magnetic flux return structure and the magnetic flux guiding structure (500) particularly via said first gap (G) and the resulting reluctance force moves the magnetic flux guiding structure (500) and therewith the first optical element (10) towards the first magnetic flux return structure (600) thereby particularly reducing said first gap (G).
