摘要： A cutter for use in an electrode tip dresser, which has a cutter holder for holding the cutter and dresses an electrode tip for a resistance welding apparatus, has a rising portion which has a cutting tooth for cutting a front peripheral portion of the electrode tip and a flat portion which faces a front end surface of the electrode tip. The flat portion has a single cutting tooth for cutting the front end surface of the electrode tip. The single cutting tooth extends from that central point of the cutter as and origin which coincides with an axis of rotation of the cutter holder towards a predetermined radial direction. An origin portion of the single cutting tooth further extends beyond the central point towards a direction which is opposite to the radial direction.

SOLUTION: In this activating method for impurity ion implanted layer, a semiconductor material, to which a prescribed impurity element is doped by ion implantation, is irradiated with the laser light of energy equal to or higher than the band gap of that semiconductor material while being heated. Further, the semiconductor material is irradiated while changing the power density of laser light to be radiated step by step. Thus, while preventing the surface component of the semiconductor material from being evaporated, impurities implanted into much deeper positions are electrically activated.

CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 2 is attached to a grip part 3, attached spirally so as to be removable, and in a tip part of the cylindrical body 2, a fire extinguishing agent blowout part 4 which is sealed in a normal state is formed, and in a rear end part of the cylindrical body 2, a circular opening part 5 whose opening area is comparatively large is formed. In this state, a flange 8 of a cylinder case 7 is allowed to abut on the circular opening part 5 of the cylindrical body 2 through packing 6. In the cylinder case 7, a fire extinguishing agent and a compressed gas cylinder 9 are contained. This compressed gas cylinder 9 is maintained in a prescribed position in the cylindrical body 2 together with the cylinder case 7 by screwing a male screw part provided on the rear end of the cylindrical body 2 into a female part engraved and provided on an installing part 10 of the grip part 3. On the grip part 3, a trigger 11 is provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method for regenerating cylindrical air filters used for air cleaners, etc., more particularly air filters for automobiles and above all for engines of tracks and buses without discarding or exchanging with brand new filters even after contamination like used filters and an adequate washing device used for the same. SOLUTION: This method consists in turning the contaminated cylindrical air filter sideways, immersing this air filter in a washing liquid so as to expose the part below half of the entire part thereof from the washing liquid surface and alternately vertically rotating the cylindrical air filter clockwise and counterclockwise. The cylindrical air filter is preferably subjected to prewashing to peel and remove the dirt sticking to the outside surfaces by high-pressure washing prior to this treatment. The device described above has a transversely long washing tank having a flaring V shape or U-shaped section at its bottom, drive shafts which are separately freely turnably mounted at each of both ends of the washing tank, grasping members for the cylindrical air filter disposed at the proper points of these drive shafts inward of the washing tank, a drive member for rotationally driving the drive shaft of the one side and an ultrasonic vibration member disposed at the bottom of the washing tank.
