摘要： Compositions having durable antimicrobial activity are disclosed herein. The durable antimicrobial compositions include a carbonate/bicarbonate salt of a quaternary ammonium cation, an organic acid, hydrogen peroxide, a surfactant, and a cationic polymer. The cationic polymer includes either a (3-acrylamidopropyl)trimethylammonium chloride monomer or a [2-(acrylolyoxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride monomer. The cationic polymer also includes another monomer selected from a polar, water-soluble monomer, a hydrophobic, silicone-containing monomer or mixtures of both types of monomers in combination with one of the trimethylammonium chloride monomers. The surfactant is selected from cationic surfactants, non-ionic surfactants, zwitterionic surfactants, and combinations thereof.

摘要： A diaper rash composition and a method for treating diaper rash are disclosed. In one embodiment, the diaper rash composition contains a volatile silicone, a silicone elastomer, and a diaper rash agent. Of particular advantage, the diaper rash composition can be formulated so as to only contain the above three ingredients. Thus, the composition can be formulated as a semi-solid that contains no emulsifers and is substantially non-aqueous. In alternative embodiments, the composition can also contain a carrier, a non-silicone elastomer, and various other miscellaneous ingredients.

摘要： Foamable compositions are disclosed. The compositions contain one or more active ingredients combined with a foaming agent and optionally one or more surface tension adjusting agents. The foaming agent may comprise, for instance, a derivatized dimethicone. The surface tension adjusting agent, on the other hand, comprises a chemical species that either increases or decreases the surface tension of the composition within a desired range so that the composition is readily foamable. In this manner, active ingredients can be incorporated into the compositions that are typically hard to foam. Such ingredients include cleaning solvents and various skin care agents. Of particular advantage, foamable compositions can be formulated in accordance with the present disclosure that contain relatively small amounts of water such as less than about 20 percent by weight, such as less than about 10 percent by weight. !n other embodiments, the composition can be completely anhydrous.

摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to a personal care composition containing a carrier, an oil phase having at least one terpene alcohol component, an at least partially fluorinated compound, and a stabilizer. In an exemplary aspect, the at least partially fluorinated compound is stable within the composition of the present disclosure with the introduction of an oil phase having at least one terpene alcohol component to stabilize the at least partially fluorinated compound. Thus, the composition provides an initial foaming action and longer term skin benefits provided by an oil phase contacting a terpene alcohol component. A stabilizing component may also be included to provide further stability to the composition.
