摘要： The system of the present disclosure is a system for real time, rapid detection of a target analyte in a liquid sample, the system comprising: a sample holder to hold the liquid sample wherein the sample holder is adapted and disposed for rotational motion; an optical source to provide an excitation light beam to excite a fluorescence marker in the sample to emit an emission light; an objective lens to focus the excitation light beam in the sample wherein at least a portion of the optical source is adapted and disposed for translational motion whereby the excitation light beam translates along at least a portion of the sample holder; a detector to record the intensity of the emission light over the period of time; and a member to calculate the number of cells or microorganisms in the sample from the recorded intensity of the emission light over the period of time.

摘要： Described herein are systems and methods that test authentication information on a fuel cartridge. A controller on a device that interfaces with the cartridge tests and validates the authentication information before permitting fuel provision from the cartridge. The authentication information can be used to prevent unauthorized cartridges from providing fuel. This permits the device to ensure that the cartridge, its manufacturer, and/or its contents are acceptable. Authentication information stored in a cartridge memory may also be encrypted.

摘要： The system includes a continuous loop coil of flat, thin, rigid construction which levitates inside a quadrupole permanent magnet assembly with minimum gap. The linear coil may be a flat, racetrack-shaped, or continuous loop, which may be constructed with single or multilayers PCB, flex-circuit, or other membrane process. The linear coil may include a coating of magnetically permeable material along the insulated conductor traces. The linear coil may be sandwiched between carbon fiber fabrics and cured to create a long, flat, light-weight, load-bearing tee-shaped structure. This structure is levitated inside a quadrupole permanent magnetic assembly with an air gap between the magnets. In additional to the bare conductor traces inside this coil, also integrated into this PCB structure, is simple second order equalizer electronic circuitry. Either a close loop or open loop control may be included to tune the voltage amplitude at the resonance frequency of this magnetic drive system.
