    • The invention relates to compositions and method for the treatment of arable soil, for the improvement of the growth of plants and harvest-results, method for the preparation of the compositions, the pesticide resistance microorganism strains forming the base of the compositions, and method for their preparation. The cells of one of the microoganisms according to the invention or their mixtures are applied on the arable land, or bound to the seeds of the plant. In the method according to the invention a composition is introduced into and/or onto the arable soil, said composition containing at least one of the 12 soil bacterium strains, isolated from the environment of differents plants and from different soils, made pesticide resistant, which convert the nitrogen of the atmosphere to compounds utilizable by the plants, solubilize the mineralised phosphate compounds and biosynthesize substances promoting the development of the plants, produce polysaccharides, thus advantageously transforming the structure of the arable soil, and resulting in acceptable harvest results, when pratically abolishing the use of the expensive fertilizers.
