摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing lumber by a wet-heat treatment wherein a great amount of the lumber is enabled to be surely sterilized in a shorter time. SOLUTION: The lumber 21 is introduced into a wet-heat treating apparatus and a pressure of high pressure steam is raised to 1.0 to 5.0 atm by feeding the high pressure steam into a wet-heat treating apparatus. Passages for steam 23 and 24 are formed between mutual pieces of lumber 21 introduced into the wet-heat treating apparatus containing wet-heat treatment of the lumber 21 by a saturated steam atmosphere. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a wood is subjected to wet heat treatment at a high temperature and a high pressure by using an autoclave, an exhaust liquid and a resin which are exhausted from the wood are stuck to an inner surface of the autoclave to affect the autoclave with a bad influence. SOLUTION: A wood 1 is provided on a support plate 2 provided aslant on a truck 3. An extracted liquid and a resin which are exhausted from the wood 1 are received with the support plate. The resin and the extracted liquid are prevented from sticking to an inner surface of the autoclave 4 by exhausting the extracted liquid and the resin outside from a mixed liquid exhausting valve 7a via a trough 5 provided below an oblique lower end part of the support plate 2. Further, the through 5 is installed successively from a door 8 position of the autoclave 4 to the innermost recess part and used jointly with the support plate 2. Then, irrespective of a length of a treating material and the number of trucks to be treated, they can be treated without sticking the resin and the extracted liquid to the inside of the autoclave 4. SOLUTION: The resin and the extracted liquid are prevented from sticking to a surface of the autoclave by providing the wood 1 above a saucer 2 to receive the extracted liquid and the resin which are exhausted from the wood 1 with the saucer 2. Further, by storing the extracted liquid in a storing tank 6 from the saucer 2 to exhaust a mixed liquid from a mixed liquid exhausting valve 7a according to a pressure and temperature condition inside the can, a volume of the saucer 2 is decreased and the extracted liquids of different constituents and concentrations as the wood vinegar liquid according to respective conditions are exhausted and separated. SOLUTION: The wood is housed in a drying chamber. First, in a steaming process A, saturated water vapor is supplied into the drying chamber through a boiler and a boiler steam supply valve for steaming. Next, in a drying process B, a dryer is heated through a heater using high temperature boiler steam as a heat source to dry the wood. In the drying process B, re-steaming processes C of the same point as the steaming process A are carried out. Since stress generated in the wood is relaxed periodically, both surface cracking and internal cracking can be prevented while short time drying is materialized by high temperatures, low humidity drying.

SOLUTION: In the wood drying apparatus 1, wood is housed in the pressure vessel 3. SOLUTION: In the wood drying apparatus 1, wood is housed in the pressure vessel 3. First, the vessel is reduced in pressure by a vacuum pump 13 in a pressure reducing process A and high temperature hot air is introduced into the vessel by a hot air generator 9 to heat and dry the wood in a temperature raising drying process B. Succeedingly, the vessel is reduced in pressure by the vacuum pump 13 in a pressure re-reducing process C and the wood is dried by hot air in a temperature re-raising drying process D. Thereafter, the pressure re-reducing process and a temperature re-raising drying process are alternately repeated a plurality of times until reaching the final target water content.
