摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating injuries in a part of the body, particularly the injuries caused by burn injury.SOLUTION: According to this invention, apparatus for promoting the healing of wounds which is characterized by including a porous pad which is in contact with the surface of a wound of an affected area, an envelope which surrounds the porous pad having net-like foam, stores the affected area, and has an opening which can be sealed again so that it examines the wound, and a connecting means which is communicated with the internal portion of the envelope and is connected with a diaphragm pump.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound covering, and therapeutic treatment system that allows the application of therapeutic negative pressure without causing increased adverse side effects to the open wound site.
SOLUTION: The wound closure comprises: a first porous pad having at least two layers, wherein the porous pad comprises a polymer foam having interconnecting cells; and two sheets of flexible plastics film having a plurality of through holes in the surfaces. A first sheet 30 is disposed between a surface of a wound and the pad. A film covering member which is impermeable to liquids is disposed over a second porous pad 12 placed over the first porous pad 36. The film covering member 14 comprises an adhesive perimeter for sealing to an area of skin surrounding the wound. Connection means extends through the film covering member and is in flow communication with the second porous pad for connection to a source of negative pressure for stimulating a flow of exuded liquids from the wound.
