摘要： Steel strips are electroplated with a Zn-Fe base alloy containing 10 to 30% by weight of iron in a chloride bath which contains zinc and ferrous chlorides to give a total concentration of zinc and ferrous ions of from 1.0 mol/1 to the solubility limit with a weight ratio of Fe2+ /Zn2+ between 0.10 and 0.35, and chloride ions in a total concentration of at least 6.0 mol/l under electrolytic conditions: pH 1.0 - 6.0, current density 80 - 200 A/dm2, and relative flow velocity 30 - 200 m/min. The bath may further contain a polycarboxylic acid such as citric acid and a Zn-Fe-P alloy plating may be deposited when the bath further contains hypophosphorous acid.

摘要： Chloride bath precess for two-sided plating of steel strip in two plating stages with an intermediate wetting stage uses a wetting soln. with a Zn concn. of 0.1-50 g/l in the wetting stage. Wetting soln. temp. is normally 20-50 deg. C, its pH is pref. 3-6, and its components other than Zn are pref. the same as in the compsn. system used for the plating baths. In an example 20 g/m2 per side, two-side plating with a plating bath temp. of 55 deg. C and pH of 5.0; wetting bath temp. of 40 deg. C and pH of 4.5; line speed of 50 m/min and current density of 50 A/dm2 was effected using (1) a plating bath compsn. contg. 180 g/l ZnCl2 and 300 g/l NH4Cl and a wetting soln. with a Zn concn. of 4.6 g/l and contg. 10 g/l ZnCl2 and 20 g/l NH4Cl. (2) A plating bath compsn. contg. 220 g/l ZnCl2 and 350 g/l NaCl and a wetting soln. with a Zn concn. of 36 and contg. 75 g/l ZnCl2 and 100 g/l NaCl. This treatment gave a covering degree o of 100% in both cases and a glossiness degree of 50.3% and 44.6%.

The resin pipe 12 is divided into two parts in a half split shape, its internal peripheral part is provided with a groove 12a storing a protrusion 13 protrusively provided in a pipe end part peripheral surface of the underground buried pipe P, groove 12b making the connection pipe P' slidable by a prescribed amount/while storing the protrusion 13 protrusively provided in a pipe end part peripheral surface of the connection pipe P', and storage grooves 12c, 12d of a rubber ring 14 for ensuring air-tightness and water stopping between the underground buried pipe P, connection pipe P' and the resin pipe 12.
