摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot for hot dip metal coating in which dross adhesion to a strip caused by bottom dross rolling-up is suppressed in manufacturing a hot dip metal coated steel sheet excellent in coating appearance and corrosion resistance, and the bottom dross can be easily removed. SOLUTION: In a pot 5 for hot dip metal coating for continuously applying coating, a bottom surface of the pot 5 for coating is inclined downward toward the steel strip advancing side, and more preferably, a ridge-shaped projecting bottom surface 9 on which a center part of the steel strip width and a side line 9a opposite thereto are formed, is provided on an inclined bottom surface 8, and the ridge-shaped projecting bottom surface 9 is extended over the whole length in the advancing direction of the steel strip at least in the hot metal to be coated in the pot 5 for coating.

A couple of protrusions having a length almost equal to the width of the anode and orthogonal to the traveling direction of the strip are provided on the faces of the anodes opposed with the strip in between, the crest of the one protrusion 3 is flattened, and a recessed groove is furnished on the crest of the other protrusion 2 in its longitudinal direction.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroplating device which prevents the 'C warpage' of a steel strip with an inexpensive equipment modification and is made shorter in an inter-electrode distance than heretofore. SOLUTION: This continuous type electroplating device consists of anodes which are arranged horizontally so as to face each other above and below within a plating bath and conductor rolls 5 which apply a cathode effect on the steel strip traveling between these anodes 1. In such a case, the surfaces of the anodes 1, which surfaces face the steel strip, are provided with plural pieces of projections 2 having the same length as the electrode width and intersecting orthogonally with the progressing direction of the steel strip. Of these projections 2, the projections which face the projecting surface of the C warpage of the steel strip are provided with hollow grooves at their top ends and the projections facing the recessed surface of the C warpage of the steel strip are flattened only at the top ends in the central part in the longitudinal direction of the projections and are provided with the hollow grooves on both end sides.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct good reutilization at the time of reutilizing the heating medium of a heat exchanger for adjusting the plating soln. of an electroplating tank by detecting the infiltration of a plating soln. into the heating medium with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: Pure steam is supplied to a heat exchanger 6 as a heating medium from a feeder 7 and heat-exchanged with a plating soln. to be supplied to an electroplating tank 2. The conductivity of the heat-exchanged medium is measured by a conductometer 13 and inputted to a controller 22. When the conductivity is below the prest reference value, the infiltration of the plating soln. is denied, and the heating medium is stored in a cushion tank 16 through a solenoid valve 15. Meanwhile, when the conductivity exceeds the reference value, the infiltration of the plating soln. is affirmed, and the plating soln. is discharged into a waste tank 12 through a solenoid valve 17. When the value detected by a level gage 23 for detecting the heating medium level in the cushion tank 16 exceeds the allowable minimum value, the medium is supplied to a main cleaning material feed pipeline by a motor-driven pump 18, and the set value of a flow control valve 21 is decreased in proportion to the supply.
