    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of lining or a machine tail portion by carrying a plate shell prepared outside a tunnel to a place near the tail portion of a shield machine at the other end of the tunnel and by widening the diameter, making it into a true-circular cylinder and connecting to an existing segment. SOLUTION: A plate shell 2 having a lap portion in a peripheral direction is prepared outside a tunnel way 1, the plate shell 2 is placed on a carriage 3 and carried to a place near a tail portion of a shield machine at the other end portion. Then, at that plate, its diameter is widened with jacks or the like, both the ends of the periphery are fastened with bolts and made into a true-circular cylindrical shape and connected to existing segment. In this case, the diameter of plate shell 2 when widening the diameter is made larger in response to the stroke of the jack, and the number of the plate shells 2 is set depending on the carrying capacity of a carriage 3 for instance. By doing this, the number of parts can be considerably reduced, the length of connecting portion can be shortened, and man-hour can be considerably reduced, working hours can be shortened thereby increasing the speed of excavation.

    • PURPOSE:To easily, surely and inexpensively produce the heat treated steel pipe having excellent quality in surface roughness by subjecting the steel pipe to a 1st heat treatment in a direct firing furnace, pickling this pipe to remove its surface scale and subjecting the steel to straightening then to a heat treatment for scale formation. CONSTITUTION:The 1st heat treatment of the steel pipe is executed in the direct firing furnace which burns fuel, such as petroleum and gas, and directly heats the steel pipe at the temp. exceeding about 700 deg.C. This steel pipe is pickled in order to remove the surface scale generated on the surface of the steel pipe by this 1st heat treatment. The steel pipe is then subjected to the straightening in order to set the state (straightness, out of roundness, etc.) of the steel pipe. The execution of the straightening by using ordinary straightening rolls is possible. The steel pipe is thereafter heat treated at about 500 to 700 deg.C temp. range to form extremely thin scale layers of about 1 to 10mum on its surfaces. The heat treated steel pipe having the good surface roughness and corrosion resistance is easily, surely and inexpensively produced in this way without using an oxygen-free atmosphere furnace.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform working by carrying two steel-make members in a tunnel after elastic deformation is performed in the direction in which the area of the traverse cross section of at least one member of two steel-made members whose traverse cross section is circular is contracted, and restoring them at a repair position so as to join them. SOLUTION: A set of a steel-make large-sized member 2 whose center angle of the traverse cross section is, for instance, 27 degrees and a steel-made small- sized member 3 whose center angle is 90 degrees are manufactured. A part between joints provided on both the peripheral ends of the large-sized member 2 is connected by a wire through a chain block and elastic deformation is performed so that the opening part of the peripheral end is reduced. The large- sized member 2 and the small-sized member 3 are mounted on a truck from the inlet of a tunnel to be carried in the tunnel. Furthermore, in a repair ground point the tightening of the large-sized member 2 is released to be fitted to the circumference of the tunnel, after the small-sized member 3 is arranged, the joints of both the members 2, 3 are joined by welding, and the inner wall of the tunnel is repaired. Thereby working can be executed quickly.
