摘要： PURPOSE: To efficiently and finely finish a surface without damaging a coating film by controlling a brush roll rotated at a high speed so as to bring the same into contact with the surface of refractory in a freely approaching and separating state to make contact pressure force constant and removing the foreign matter and projections on the surface of refractory. CONSTITUTION: A brush roll 4 is formed by appropriately arranging flap type articles with predetermined width each obtained by attaching brushes 8 wherein an abrasive powder is applied to soft flaps composed of a cloth material to the brush shaft and synchronously driven up and down while kept horizontal by a lift device and brought to into contact with the rear surface of the graphite-containing unbaked refractory fed by a roller conveyor 6 so as to be freely adjusted in the distance from the refractory and the contact pressure force of the brush roll is kept constant to perform grinding. By rotating the brushes 8 at a high speed to bring the same into contact with the surface of the refractory, the solid foreign matter in the resin coating film on the surface of the refractory or the projection thereon is softened by friction heat and the foreign matter or projection such as burr on the surface of the refractory is removed so as to minimize the surface damage of the coating film.

The lower end of the pipe 1 is sealed with a tape 5, the heated and liquefied oil 4 is injected into the inner pipe 1a and the gap 1c to fill the entire length of the pipe 1 without leaving air bubbles, cooled and solidified, and then the tape 5 is removed. The pipe 1 and structure 2 thus obtained are simultaneously integrated with the nozzle main body 3 of a refractory composition by the conventional method, the oil 4 is dried, liquefied and removed, and a blowing nozzle A, in which two gas passages are formed, is obtained.
