摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute installation of a surveying instrument efficiently, in a short time and accurately by correcting a slippage from a reference point and a deviation of a horizontal angle by a horizontal movement regulating screw and a horizontal angle regulating screw respectively. SOLUTION: A tripod 9 is installed temporarily on a reference point for survey and an annular pedestal 5 is made horizontal with the tripod 9 opened or closed and extended or contracted in conformity with the configuration of the ground, while a level 10 is watched. The reference point is ensured by a plumb bob suspended from a surveying instrument mounting metal fitting 3 with a reference point regulating plate 2 regulated by a horizontal movement regulating screw 7, and the tripod 9 is fixed. A deviation of a horizontal angle brought about on the occasion of fixation of the tripod 9 is corrected by regulation by a horizontal angle regulating screw 6, while a slippage from the reference point is corrected by moving the regulating plate 2 and the metal fitting 3 horizontally. A slippage of the plumb bob 11 from the reference point is corrected by the screw 7. The surveying instrument is installed on the pedestal 5 by using the regulating plate 2 and the metal fitting 3 and the accuracy is checked by using a horizontal angle regulating holding device and a reference point regulating device which are incorporated in the surveying instrument. Then a surveying operation is started.
