摘要： The present invention relates to a releasable aqueous coating composition containing (A) a resin dispersion containing a carbonyl group-containing copolymer aqueous dispersion and a polyhydrazide compound in such a ratio that an amount of hydrazide group is in the range of 0.02 to 3.0 equivalents per one equivalent of carbonyl group in the emulsion particle, and (B) a release assistant; and a method of temporarily protecting a finished coating film on an automobile body, which method comprises coating said coating composition onto a surface of a finished cured coating film coated onto the automobile body.

The present invention further provides a method for forming a topcoat according to a 2-coat 1-bake system comprising the steps of applying to a substrate a thermosetting aqueous colored base coating composition, applying to the uncured surface of the base coat a clear coating composition, and curing the two coats by heating, wherein the clear coating composition is the above thermosetting powder coating composition.

摘要： The present invention provides hydrophilic crosslinked polymer fine particles made of a copolymer composed of: 2-50% by weight of (a) a monoethylenic monomer having a polyoxyalkylene or polyvinylpyrrolidone chain, 20-97% by weight of (b) a (meth)acrylamide type monoethylenic monomer, 1-30% by weight of (c) a crosslinkable unsaturated monomer having at least one N-methylol or N-alkoxymethyl group and a polymerizable double bond, and 0-50% by weight of (d) other monoethylenic monomer. Said polymer fine particles are superior in polymerization stability as well as in dispersion stability during storage, undergoes no adverse effect by dispersion stabilizer owing to no use of said stabilizer, and are suitably used for formation of a hydrophilic film.

The process comprises copolymerising a polymerisable unsaturated monomer mixture in a reaction solvent, such as ether solvents, amide solvents and urea solvents, which solvent comprises at least 30 mass%, based on the total mass of the reaction solvent, of an organic solvent having no hydroxyl group and a solubility in 20{C water of at least 100 mass%.
