    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to particularly reinforce the rigidity of a connecting part by stacking blocks comprising plastic foams at the connecting part of a tunnel and a wing plate to efficiently decrease bending moment exerted on the connecting part. CONSTITUTION:The ground 1 is excavated to construct a tunnel 3 by successively connecting arch-shaped culverts 2, following which wing plates 4, 4 are respectively erected on either side so as to be formed integrally with the culvert 2. Next, blocks 10 comprising plastic foams are stacked on the free end side F of the wing plate 4 in an approximately truncated quadrangular pyramid- shaped region which is gradually inclined upwardly toward the inner part of the tunnel, parallelly with the center line thereof. After a predetermined number of blocks 10 are stacked in a range of stacking layers E, a civil sheet is laid on an upper layer to effect soil dressing. Ordinary soil and sands are backfilled in the vicinity of the culvert 2. On the side C of the connecting part of the plate 4 with the culvert 2, a large earth pressure is exerted, while the earth pressure is reduced on the side of position A near the free end side F and the whole load is positioned nearer to the side of the tunnel, and hence a maximum bending moment exerted on the part C becomes smaller.

    • PURPOSE:To constitute the above method so that it is performed efficiently for reuse of a synthetic resin foam by a method wherein small pieces comprised by pulverizing a synthetic resin foam are made into a core body by molding them by adding a binder to them and upon arrangement of the core body within a mold, polystyrene beads are cast and foamed. CONSTITUTION:A nonfoamable synthetic resin molded body molded once into a fixed form is reused and a core body 26 is formed. In other words, synthetic resin molded body (synthetic resin foam at need) is made into small pieces by pulverizing the same into about 1-10mm, preferably about 5mm by a pulverizer, after volume of the small pieces is reduced to at least one fifth, preferably to at least one tenth by performing volume reduction treatment heating and shrinking the small pieces to the next, a matter obtained by adding a binder such as a vinyl acetate adhesive agent to the small pieces is cast into a pipe mold having a fixed form, in-mold molding is performed and the core body 26 is formed. Then upon arrangement of the core body 26 within the mold, foam molding is performed by casting foam polystyrene beads outward of at least one surface of the core body 26, through which a desired resin molded body is manufactured.

    • PURPOSE:To constitute the above method so that it is performed effectively for reuse of a synthetic resin foam by a method wherein small pieces comprised by pulverizing a synthetic resin foam are made into a core body by molding them by adding a binder to them and upon arrangement of the core body within a mold, polystyrene beads are cast and foamed. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin foam foam-molded by a mold foaming method or an extrusion foaming method is reused and a core body 26 is formed. In other words, the synthetic resin foam is made into small pieces by pulverizing the same into about 1-10mm, preferably about 5mm by a pulverizer, after volume of the small pieces is reduced to at least one fifth, perferably to at least one tenth by performing volume reduction treatment heating and shrinking the small pieces to the next, a matter obtained by adding a binder such as a vinyl acetate adhesive agent to the small pieces is cast into a pipe mold having a fixed form, in-mold molding is performed and the core body 26 is formed. • PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of construction by a method in which foamed synthetic resin blocks are stacked up on a recessed portion for forming a foundation to form a formwork, and reinforcing bars and concrete are placed between the blocks to form a foundation by leaving the blocks as fillers behind. CONSTITUTION:A recessed portion is excavated for forming a foundation, and broken stones 11, leveling concrete 12, and concrete base slab 13 are provided in layers on the bottom of the recessed portion. A concrete formwork 14 such as wooden form is assembled on the peripheral side of the recessed portion, and rectangular foamed synthetic resin blocks 10 are stacked up on a given position inside to form several rows of blocks stack 20. Bars 16 are set on the stack 20 and their ends are fixed to the formwork 14 to prevent the up-lift of the stack 20. Reinforcing bars are set in the trench 15 between the stacks 20 and concrete is placed and hardened. The formwork 14 and the bars 16 are removed and the stacks 20 are left behind. The number of operation site, and transporating and construction processes can thus greatly reduced without the need to embedment and the breaking of the formwork.
